Manchester United’s win over Liverpool in the FA Cup would have delighted everyone connected with the club.

Ole Gunnar Solsjaker’s side are into the fifth round of the competition after a 3-2 win over their bitter rivals at Old Trafford on Sunday evening.

Mason Greenwood, Marcus Rashford and Bruno Fernandes got the goals for United to cancel out a Mohamed Salah brace to knock Jurgen Klopp’s side out of the competition.

United will now take on West Ham at home in the next round, where the winner will earn a place in the quarter finals, and another step closer to the Wembley showpiece in May.

One player who put in a solid performance was Paul Pogba, whose rejuvenated form continues and was even awarded the man of the match by BBC pundit Jermaine Jenas.

After the game, Klopp was keen to have a chat with Pogba as the pair seemed to share a light-hearted conversation about the game.

Klopp was seen shaking hands with Pogba and his United team-mates on the pitch after the full-time whistle.

It appears that Pogba shouted something towards Klopp which prompted the German to have a light-hearted conversation with the France international.

The pair shared a smile as they came to a halt around the centre-circle before continuing their walk towards the tunnel together in conversation.
